Conservation And Regeneration Of Industrial Heritages In Harmony With Pattern Of The Historical City, Suzhou

Suzhou, is a historic city and important scenic tourist city, has rich historical heritage."Historic city, historic conservation area, officially protected monuments and sites"which are 3 levels of protection system are established, and form"point, line and plane"conjoint protective framework. At the same time, Suzhou is also one of the earliest cities of bud of capitalism in China and start of recent national industry, and has left a number of valuable relics of the industrial heritages in the history of industrial development. Regardless of type, quantity or spatial distribution, it has particularity and representative in the historic city.The phenomenon which is the protection of historic city and the conservation of industrial heritage are disconnected is significantly serious. This dissertation views from heritage protection , and takes industrial heritages of central area of Suzhou as the object of study, present the method and strategy of conservation and reuse of industrial heritages in Historic city.Firstly, this dissertation starts at the studies of modern industry development,to find out the values of Suzhou Industrial Heritage Conservation and Resue.Based on openness and level of frame of famous city protection, put the industrial heritage protection from three levels,"city, block, building", into the appropriate level of frame of famous city protection in order to establish the new frame of famous city protection. Besides, under this frame, discuss the recognized and the protection level of industrial heritage, and the concrete method to integrate,investigate the specific measures of protection of the each level of industrial heritages and harmony of famous city protection, further, put forward the regenerate tactics of recycle of industrial heritage and compatible function of famous city protection and the specific approaches of function replacement. The end of this dissertation has carried out the discussion and prospect to relative important problems in the research process.
