The Industrial Heritage’s Conservation And Utilization In Jilin Province Under The Perspective Of The Urban Regeneration

Taking the Jilin province as the research object,this paper explores the protection theory and practice methods of industrial heritage in Jilin Province from the disciplines of urban planning,cultural heritage,architecture,history and so on forth to provide the theoretical support to the work on the protection and utilization of industrial heritage in Jilin Province.Jilin industrial heritage is an important part of the industrial heritage in modern China.Experiencing the foreign capital inflow in late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China,the development of the national industries of the Fengxi warlord,the abnormal expansion of colonial industry before and after “September 18 incident” and the Soviet Union’s aids during the first five-year plan,to the basically complete construction of the northeast old industrial base in 1965,more than one-hundred-year development for the Jilin Province has left a large number of industrial heritages engraved with the imprint of the time.These industrial heritages are an indispensably historical evidence for Chinese economic development and are also an important part of the national industrial heritage.In the background of the national urban construction,mass land has been redeveloped,which led to the rapid loss of industrial heritage resources.The protection and utilization work of the industrial heritage need to be further developed at once.This paper explores the repositioning of industrial heritage in functional cities,low-carbon cities,tourism cities and cultural cities in the view of the urban revitalization.Bringing the industrial heritage into urbanization,industrial restructuring and urban functional transformation,it establishes the effective link between the urban revitalization and protection and utilization of the industrial heritage and fully dig the functions of the industrial heritage in improving the city text function,carrying forward the city industrial culture,reshaping the city spatial structure and prospering urban economy,which is the important direction for the protection of industrial heritage in Jilin Province.First of all,sort out the resources of industrial heritage in Jilin and clarify the development process of the modern industry.Then,analyze the basic characteristics and constituent elements of industrial heritage,make the evaluation standards of industrial heritage and put forward the protection list of industrial heritage.Last,analyze the problems encountered in the protection work based on the resource combing and put forward the countermeasures.In light of the unclear property and severe loss of the industrial resources,we should establish the strategy of the registering system and unifying the evaluation standard.In view of the lack of protection mechanism,we should firstly make the basic principles of industrial heritage protection including grading protection,integrity,authenticity and sustainability.Then set up an industrial heritage protection and utilization systems followed by the operating level of urban planning,urban designing,and industrial heritage ontology and standardize the work flow from the historical research and literature survey to the city revitalizations.In light of a single form of the protection,we should combine with the actual condition from city function,culture,economy and space,and elaborate that how the industrial heritage play its significant role in the realization of a lowcarbon city,building a compact and integrated city center area and reshaping the characteristics of the industrial city.In the end,taking Changchun City as an example,the strategic method mentioned above,explore the role the industrial heritage plays and the new ways of protection and use,from the three angles of functional replacement the old industrial area and the recovery of regional vitality,protection and development of the historical districts and the city image based on the cultural events.
