There are unusual values with Oil industrial heritage in Shengli Oilfield.Because of strategy needs of petroleum after 1949 when establish the People's Republic of China(PRC),the industrial population gathered and increased rapidly for the discovery and exploition of Shengly Oilfield after 1962.It means Dongying city,the estuary of the Huanghe River,the location of Shengly Oilfield stepped in industrial era.Oil labor created the unique culture of a new industrial city.Therefore,oil industrial culture is the most important component of the culture in Dongying.It also can prove that the industrial heritage in oil industrial process is the valuable resource of history and culture to a city.The industrial heritage during the period of Shengli Oilfield discovery and oil battle has a unique meaning around the whole nation and the typical character among the nationwide.The industrial heritage of Shengly Oilfield shows the whole development skeleton of Chinese oil industry relatively completely,as well as the oil type industry heritage is the particular type of the nation.Nowadays,face to resource exhaustion,oil industrial city has to urban transformation.And oil industrial heritage disappeared rapidly.Urgency of conservation and historical mission motivate the author to pay close attention to the industrial heritage in Shengly Oilfield.At the same time,it is no time to delay to improve public to realize and conserve the heritage practically.Based on the background of urban transformation of Dongying,the author gathered lots precious data to research the heritage.Search the historical and oil industrial data from Archive of Shengly Petroleum Administration,Human Services of Shengli Petroleum Administration,Sinopec Petroleum Engineering Corporation,Dongying city planning bureau,China University of Petroleum(UPC),Newspaper office and Library of Shengli,etc.Interview engineer,architecture and planers.Arrange and analyze historical document,newspapers,chorography,blueprint,and so on.Mapping the industrial construction heritages which blueprint were lost.And research the reasons behind these industrial heritage,such as international environment,national policy,history of petroleum industry,the worker life,and so on.The innovation of this research is as follows:(1)By gathering historical data,the background of war preparation and military significance of the development of Shengli Oilfield was found.Its generally historical starting point is changed from 1955 to 1952,the time of Petroleum Engineering Army 1th was redesignated.And shift the developing stage of oil extraction to the stage of city space development.(2)The first to do fieldwork for searching oil industrial construction heritage in Shengli Oilfield.Record the current situation with picture and words.Summarize the heritage distribution characteristics,features and value of the space and the environments.(3)According to the natural environment characteristics,six values of industrial heritage in Shengli Oilfield were laid out.It is the first time to point out the ecological value of petroleum industrial heritage.(4)By elaborating International Charters and Concepts of industrial heritage conservation at home and abroad,and gathering experiences about oil industrial heritage,provide the significance for conservation and reuse in Shengly Oilfield.(5)This paper studies the opportunities and challenges faced by the oil industrial heritage in Shengly Oilfield,and puts forward the principles,and suggestions for the conservation and reuse.It is proposed that the conservation and utilization of Oil industrial heritage will bring great significance to Dongying.
