The Research For Landscape Restoration And Reconstruction Of Mines Wasteland

With the rapid development of economic construction, the mineral resource is increasingly demanded. Mining industry has made great achievements, at the same time the serious environmental and geological disasters have been caused. In the past, the most treating for the abandoned mines was only ecological reclamation technology. But land reclamation technology alone is not enough to the reclamation of abandoned mines. Every society has its own culture and unique realization processes, so we should make the long-term integrated planning and multi-effective design, look for the new ideas of reclamation from the area of economic, social and educational landscape. Land is the most basic wealth of human. When people protect land as an artistic form and cultural awareness, it will be value-added. It was mainly from the ecology, codes, regulations and landscape transformation that the abandoned mines had been researched at home and abroad.Landscape Architecture Theory provides new ideas, new ways and brings some new landscape forms for the rehabilitation of mines wasteland. In this paper, on the basis of Landscape Architecture relevant theory, some domestic and overseas living examples of landscape reclamation and rehabilitation of mines wasteland were analyzed. It was discussed that the model, location, planning principles, functional zoning, design philosophy of landscape reclamation and rehabilitation of mines wasteland. The relevant experience and theory were induced. The principles of landscape reclamation and rehabilitation of mines wasteland include ecological priority, ecological protection, conserve resource, construction coordination, reflect the context, emphasizing safety and so on. It is need to preserve and use the landscape elements, such as the terrain, mining remains and remained buildings of mines wasteland. It is needed to recycle material and energy and to shape the landscape elements by high-tech means.By using Landscape Architecture theory, the regional characteristics and base conditions of Zhu Shan abandoned quarry were analyzed. Some suggestions were proposed to the landscape rehabilitation model, functional zoning, topographical reform, vegetation application of Zhu Shan abandoned quarry. According to the philosophy of ecological reclamation, the mining remains landscape were retained and used. To demonstrate the path of the local social development and make popular scientific education for the purpose, the wasteland was transformed into a recreational park. The park assimilated the natural landscape and human landscape into one body. It will become a leisure resort in which people can visit mining remains, tour the natural landscape, touching customs and country feeling and study science and technology.
