End face engagement cycloid steel ball planetary transmission is a new type of precise mechanism which has no backlash, construction compact, bearing capacity strong and transmission efficiency high. On the base of reading literatures largely, analyzing the structure and transmission theory detailedly, this paper has carried out the research on the fuzzy reliablity of cycloid steel ball planetry drive system, the multi-objective optimization of parameters against the volume(weight),efficiency and reliability of the transmission, and the comprehensive evaluation based on FAHP of the transmission.According to the construction constituted and the drive principles of the cycloid steel ball planetary transmission mechanism, based on the fuzzy reliability theory, the corresponding fuzzy reliability formulae of the contact fatigue of the cycloid ball planetary meshing pair are deduced, further the corresponding fuzzy reliability formulae of the decleration part mechanism, the velocity output mechanism and the tumbler bearings, then the fuzzy reliability formulae of the cycloid steel ball planetry drive system.Based on detailed analysises of the structure, efficiency and fuzzy reliability of the cycloid ball planetary transmission, and application of multi-objective fuzzy reliability optimization design theory and genetic algorithms, a cycloid ball planetery reducer body is established conciously, and solved properly. A pareto solution meeting to the muli-objective fuzzy reliability is got in the end.According to the General Design teory, the content of general quality products is analysed. Borrowing the generalized product quality goals system, making a more comprehensive consideration about the level and complexity of the product quality, using fuzzy analytic hierarchy process, learning fully from the experience of experts, for the first time, a fuzzy comprehensive evaluation of the new type cycloid ball planetary transmission mechanism., then the rationality of the design is vertificated.
