In the walk streets, people can escape vehicle traffic, return to the trandition transportation mode and search for leisure space. So as to have a human cozy environment, designers should construct more comfortable environment content human nature. At present, more cities include large or small have taken great importance on the construction of the walk street.This paper selects 4 spontaneously walking streets include the Yandaixie Street, Moushikou Street eps., and several other designed walk street for eample the Shanghai Nanjing Street, the Beijing Wangfujing Street as a case. These streets have been or still flourished. Are these street spaces impressive, or people just get there as a shopping destination. Which space elements of these streets are people most closely related or impressive and pleased people to review?Through cases I study and compare the space of the spontaneous walk street and the designed walk street. The space of spontaneous walk street is formed a long-term, it could reflect a long-term behavior and aesthetic practices of local residents. After a long period change, these street spaces which maintain vitality today must be have their own advantages, while these streets have their lack of space limited by human, financial, technical and other factors at the early formation; The designed walk streets are designed by the professional designer on the basis of modern design theory, construct the space in the scientific point of view of people suitable. In spite of specifications such as sunshine, fire control and so on, the most appropriate space scale and demand for human nature is often ignored by designers.This paper selects different elements in the spatial form:the length of the street, the plane sharp, the cross-section scale, joints, street building interface and so on. Through analyze these elements, I can get that different elements in the street space in the different play, while these elements are interdependent. The combination of different elements would get different feelings. The designer can refer to different types projects and choose what they needs for creating different feelings of spaces.
