Nowadays, the product is extremely rich, Large enterprises put increasing attention on the Product Identification of their brand . Product gene is the key factors to keep consistency, creativity, uniqueness of product family.Existing gene research on the product DNA most simply fall on one product shape only . The lack of availability and comprehensiveness of the study makes little practical significance.This research introduces DNA's similarity and continuity of the series into the concept of product family. Combining corporate culture, brand, market, user research, product development, design psychology, functional point of view, and product semantics in such areas as research, this article explored the method of product family design from the perspective of the development of corporate brand building. This paper analysis several aspects from a lot of typical products to sum laws of genetic in common. The method will be applied in the design of a specific case at last to Verification and improve the theory.The innovation of this paper is to study the DNA From the dual perspective of business and design, and from the dual aspects of shape and color of the product gene extracted. This paper Proposed a more scientific and comprehensive study of the product family DNA elements, so as to make a new genetic variation method.
