| Recent years, wind power as a kind of clean and renewable energy source is drawing more and more attention. Twin stator brushless doubly fed machine generation system which has no electrical brush and can running in variable speed and constant frequency condition is very suitable for wind power generation.Variable speed and constant frequency generation system is a better solution for wind power generation than constant speed and constant frequency system for its higher efficiency to draw energy from wind. Twin stator brushless doubly fed generation system is quite prospective for variable speed and constant frequency solutions. It is quite suitable for variable speed and constant frequency generation system and the frequency transformer which is to be used to control the system output maybe quite more economical than others.The modeling and simulation are created by researches of the basis theory of twin stator brushless doubly fed machine. The vector control method of twin stator brushless doubly fed generation system was put forward. With the modeling and simulation of twin stator brushless doubly fed machine a wind power generation system is designed. Variable speed and constant frequency control strategy are also presented.Finally, based on the theoretical analysis, simulation results and the control strategy an experimental generation system of twin stator brushless doubly fed machine is designed. The hardware platform design process consists of devices choosing, function circuit design and PCB board manufacture and test. Subsequently, an open loop experiment has been tested which verified the feasibility of the experimental generation system can run in variable speed and constant frequency condition. These works provide the basis of the project for the further studies. |
