From a psychological perspective, demands are the driving force; From a economical perspective, demands are the market. commercial pedestrian streets,as the landmark of surplus economy and times of aesthetics generalization,should have met the psychological needs of the masses to some extent,but for various reasons,some commercial pedestrian streets in our contry ignoring this demands, constructed blindly,so that there are a large number of idles and pedestrian streets so are called "unable streets".In this study, we will aim to the phenomenon, put forward response strategies on exhaustively theoretical analysis and empirical reseaching.This study clarified the causes of coming into being,historical development,contemporary pattern of modern commercial pedestrian streets at first,and pionted out that modern commercial pedestrian streets arised from the jam of modernity,which was a typical modernity event and make it with a value character of humanism;then,as constantly introduced of commercial factors, pedestrian streets were transformed to "commercial pedestrian streets" dramatically,which was also the corollary of quick increasing and centralized of consumption needs of human beings.when it comes to contemporary society,which is in the double context of surplus economy and aesthetics generalization,the demands of human beings exceed the only side of consumption, commercial pedestrian streets must reflect all kingds of aesthetic demands of the masses,so that some commercial pedestrian streets which haven't reflected it become "unable Streets". In this sense,if pedestrians want be return,the two kinds of demands must be considered at the same time.this in the principle of cultural constrction of pedestrians (the first chapter).second, this study demonstrated this principle,ponted out that because of double excess of consumption and aesthetic (in economics it appears "consumer society""surplus economy""rich society", and in aesthetics it appears "abuse of aesthetic""aesthetic surplus" "inflation of aesthetic",and so on)in contemporary context, the relationship of both has taken on a status of interpenetration and coupling that you are in me and I am in you,which is the corollary of their traditional meanings implosion. We consider this synchronous and each inverse process as "aestheticization of consumption"and "consumerization of aesthetic". In this sense, consumption and aesthetic become two different respects of the same things,so if only on one hand is biased,there will lose all,if only part of them are noted,there will overall collapse. The article also pointed out that pedestrian street culture is also consumption-aesthetic culture,and cultural constraction of commercial pedestrian streets must return to its essential attribute.(the second chapter)Third,this studies took an empirical Study on the balance relationship of consumption and aesthetic, and confirmed the principle of cultural constraction further.(the third chapter)Fourth,this study investigated the problem of implement of cultural constraction and pionted out that the cultural constraction of commercial pedestrian streets should pursue the demands of instrumental rationality of maximum economic benefits,but at the same time the demands of value rationality of aestheticization and art must be payed atttention,so that commercial pedestrian streets would be biult to be the unities of instrumental rationality and value rationality,"commercial vitality"and "aesthetics feeling"(by Jean Baudrillard), shopping center and tourist attraction, consumption market and art gallery,make it to be "a maya of consumption". (the fourth chapter)The innovations of this study include three points as follow:first,a concept (studies on)consumption-aesthetic culture is proposed in this paper which is used as a new cultural paradigm and cultural studies paradigm; second, this study aiming to practical problems and linking to the theory of consumption-aesthetic culture proposed the principle of cultural constraction,and investigated preliminary implementation plan; third, a vocabulary survey and analysis was conducted to the tendency of consumption and aesthetic of commercial pedestrian streets for the first time, and the hypotheses which was raised in this study was verified to some extent.
