Analysis For The Feature Of City Waterfront Recreational Space Based On The Feature Of People's Action And Surroundings

With the rapid development of our economy and urbanization, people'desire that to improve the urban surrounding becomes more and more intensive, which ia the expression of getting back to nature. Meanwhile, with the leisure time's arriving gradually, urban construction should meet people's demand for leisure activities and provide a graceful surrounding for it. Because of the superior location and beautiful natural condition, city waterfront recreational space attracts more and more people to have fun there. Therefore, as an important part of waterfront area, the city waterfront recreational space could not be overlooked.Based on some domestic and international relevant studies on environment behavior, this dissertation attempts to invetigate the space feature of city waterfront recreational space. First, it define the concept of environment behavior, then sort out relevant research results, Then select some waterfront recreational space in Chong Qing city as the research objects which have a large number of visitors, nonlinear space, and easy to form behavior setting. Such as South Streamside Park,Square of Chao Tianmen,Coral Park,North Streamside Park,Streamside Park in Ci Qikou of Sha Pingba,Yu Dong Streamside Park.. Then, It analyse the psychological features and behavioral characteristics of people in waterfront recreational space from two aspect-the material space and the human beings as the mainstay of environment behavior. And finally characterizes features of the the recreational space in city waterfront as belows:(1) The surrounding should accord to the design requirement of hommization.That's mean to satisfy the lay of physics,psychology,society and the care for different crowd.(2) The surrounding should be varied form and use of space for different crowd at different time with different aim. All of that form the mixture riched of sensory stimulation which is the expression of energy about public space in city.(3) The surrounding should accord to the design requirement of hommization proceed from the awareness and feel of surrounding. The design for small site should inosculate the mental characteristics and behavioral characteristics of people in waterfront recreational space on measure and design. Such as the satisfy to the demand on psychology,security,association and culture.(4) The site design should estimate area of large visitors flowrate from the mode of people's distribution in waterfront recreational space. It also provide the area for watch field and at the same time pay attention to the use of the border area. Activity venues in accordance with different age object is used to be reasonable to partitions, or provide appropriate site, which could fall into place.
