This paper describes the use conditon of the double glass curtain wall in hot summer and cold winter, taking Nanjing for example. Choose Nanjing Silver City Building for example, the double curtain wall buliding that built and put into use in Nanjing. Select two same condtion rooms both inside and outside conditions as the experimental room. In winter, there are two thermal tests for different directions, and six thermal tests for different shade and ventilation conditions, In the summer day, there is a thermal test for energy consumption of air-conditoning and five thermal tests for different shade and ventilation conditions. In a summer night there are three tests for different ventilation conditions and four tests for different shade conditions. According to test results, during a winter day, shade condition should be first considered in a double glass curtain wall building. When the outdoor solar radiation has a good time, open the inner wall, for ventilation inside. During a summer day, shade conditions and ventilation outside should be taken; During a summer night, summer night ventilation effectively remove indoor heat, to reduce the indoor temperature effect, both ventilation outside and inside should be taken to achieve optimal results.Thermal performance of the double glass curtain wall is analyzed in this paper,both in the winter and in the summer. According to the parameters of the double glass curtain wall of Nanjing Silver City Building and the thermal analysis of glass curtain wall above, a program is made,which can calculate the temperature of the layers of the double glass curtain wall, the air velocity inside the heat channel, the integrated heat transfer coefficient of the double glass curtain wall. And the effect of solar radiation is also analyzed.DeST, an energy simulation software, is used to simulation the year-round energy consumption of the building with double glass curtain wall, single glass wall and hollow glass wall.
