With the features of complicated process, various equipment, diverse types of products, rigors of tatk time and so on, the large-scale production lines of full-biodegradable material brought greater difficulties to the production control, task scheduling and new product development of enterprises. The whole production process becomes difficult to manage by traditional mode of production management in the aspects of production cycle and costs. In this paper, by applying the theory of industrial engineering and the method of system simulation, the development time of this kind of production line was greatly reduced. At the same time, the bottlenecks of the system can be quickly identified, and then the research costs are saved.A whole production line simulation model was built based on the comprehensive study of full-biodegradable material production lines in this paper. Through model simulation, the related production data was obtained, and on this basis the production bottlenecks were determined and then the optimum scheme was obtained.First, a detailed logistic analysis of the whole production line was carried on by applying the method of industrial engineering. Afterwards, the valid data such as equipment data and production parameters were collected and input parameters related to modeling were induced, which lays foundation for modeling.In the second step, the stepper, mixer, spraying machine and other equipments were modeled first based on eM-Plant large-scale logistics simulation platform and using hierarchical modeling techniques. And then the fundamental parameters of simulation object were induced, the processing model of the product was built. The equipment model and processing model were integrated to form four parts of models including mixing, shaping, spraying and packaging, and finally the model of the whole production line was built.After that, the production line was simulated based on the simulation models and by the method of SimTalk programming and mathematical statistic analysis. The relative running conditions of equipment, the production capacity of production line and so on were also statistically analyzed.Finally, based on the above statistics, the bottlenecks of production line were found, and the optimized scheme was obtained by comparison. The operating results after revising the parameters of the model experiment results showed that the operating efficiency of key equipments was improved, and the whole production line operation was more balanced.Practice has proved that the operation of the large-scale production lines for full-biodegradable material is in good conformity with the corporation practice. The design and construction time, and also the task scheduling time were significantly shortened through the research of simulating production line, which lays foundation for enterprises to stand out in such fierce competition.
