This paper discussed the power plant reliability standards analysis models, and proposed concrete analysis of content and methods for it. According to the reliability index analysis models, the reliability of thermal power generating units and other major auxiliary equipment were assessed based on equipment production and departmental usage. A combination of regression analysis and reliability growth theory established a key reliability standards for the general reliability growth model of the power generating equipment. By way of using coal mill data of the availability factor (2003-2007, CLP Investment Group) as a calculation example, it showed the analytical forecasting results of the mode, as well as existing problems and recommendations of the availability factor reliability growth. Finally, according to the real-world reliability data of the power plant. It provided the reliability analysis results of four generating units. Using the defect records of Unit No.1 A mill as an example, it was able to demonstrate the application of reliability analysis technology in power plant equipment condition-based maintenance.
