Electrical apparatus including low voltage electrical apparatus,high voltage electrical apparatus and switchgear are important products in the field of electricity.It have a wide variety of species,a huge amount,comprehensive functions and complex operating environment.Therefore,the requirement for the quality and reliability of the electrical products are becoming higher and higher.The construction of smart grid has brought new opportunities to the development of electrical apparatus and raised higher requirements.Without reliability growth technology,a new generation of electrical apparatus can not be developed.Firstly,the reliability growth management method of electrical apparatus is studied.By making a reasonable reliability growth working plan,carrying out the relevant reliability growth test,the weaknesses of electrical apparatus are exposed.The progress of reliability growth is a progress of continuously exposing the weaknesses and improving it.Secondly,in order to evaluate the effect of reliability growth and adjust the reliability growth working plan timely,the Duane model and AMSAA model are studied in detail.In Duane model,the point estimate value of the products' MTBF is evaluated by the least square method.In AMSAA model,the point estimate and interval estimate of the MTBF is evaluated by the maximum likelihood estimation.The poisson progress used in analysing the failure of electrical apparatus and the Weibull distribution used in analysing the failure data are related and they can mutual transform with corresponding parameters.Finally,the goodness-of-fit test method used to determine whether the failure data of electrical apparatus can fit for the reliability growth model and the reliability growth trend test method used to determine whether the reliability has a positive or negative growth are studied.
