This paper first summarizes the development process, the research status and the research results of smart grid at home and abroad. Analyzing the position and the role of intelligent electricity consumption in the area of smart grid. Second, the paper focuses on the intelligent electricity consumption-related technologies, carries out the overall design of an integrated simulation platform. According to the modular design principle, we integrate many related technologies, such as computer technology, power load management technology, distribution transformer monitoring technology, focused meter-reading technology and unusual use of electricity monitoring technology to design an integrated simulation platform for intelligent display of power solutions and implementations. Then, analysis of existing mainstream communication technologies to design the show programs of communication network, and raised a lot of display module communication network of the program. Finally, on the basis of full argument, combined with previous research results, build integrated simulation platform about electric load management, distribution transformer monitoring, meter reading, unusual consumption monitoring and communication, gives a variety applications of program and Combined with the practical application to prove the feasibility of program.
