Research On Trip Modal Split Of OD Survey Based On The Cellular Positioning System

With the economic development and urbanization acceleration, urban traffic pressure gradually increases for the reason of increasing number of motor vehicles and frequency of travel, moreover, economic development and living standards have been affected. Over the years, the construction of highway cannot satisfy the growth of traffic demand, in the meantime the space of road was crowded with vehicles among which bus is less than others, as a result, urban traffic planning is influenced by the model choice of resident.Existing traffic mode splitting of OD survey is mostly based on the OD survey date. Firstly, trip mode and trip frequency is acquired from household survey. Furthermore, with the analysis of trip information, the trip mode is obtained. Finally, the result is provided for the traffic organization and traffic planning.The paper is based on cellular position from which it is acquired that the information of location, trip time and so on, moreover, the cellular users'path is collected. The research is involved in the characteristic of trip model, path matching, and fuzzy identification and meanwhile, to demonstrate the feasibility of cellular position applying in the OD survey, the trip models were divided into foot, vehicle, Subway and so on, and the model splitting combined with C#. Finally, the method was validated that it is effective to take use of the cellular position in the trip splitting of OD survey.
