Urban road network is the basis for urban transport, and its reliability takes an extremely important role. As society progresses, people put forward higher requirements on the transport network resilience under routine conditions. Research on the reliability for daily transport systems takes more and more attention.According to the literature about reliability of road network, there exist several concept and calculation for reliability of road network in the world. This article focuses on the research of the reliability for daily transport systems. As mobility reliability's sufficient consideration on the road network's real capacity and traffic demand randomness, and it can effectively reflect the daily crowded conditions of road network. So This article takes this index for road network reliability evaluation. This paper aims to build a model about mobility reliability for urban road network. To avoid complicating the problem, firstly, the article start from the general system reliability analysis method, and use the minimal path set method in the graph theory to simplify the road network to the simple series-parallel network. Secondly, on the basis of traditional calculation method of mobility reliability, the paper analysis traffic flow characteristics and Beijing road network real-time data, research urban road network elements (roads) of Reliability calculation methods. With minimal path set as basis, the paper establish urban road network mobility reliability calculation process. Finally, based on principles of sensitivity analysis, sensitivity analysis was taken for the roads to determine the critical sections of the road network. The article aim to get method to improve the mobility reliability of urban road network, which can provide decision-making and theoretical support for related management.This paper studied the mobility reliability of urban road network, which can evaluate daily crowded conditions of road network and also can identify the key section of urban road network, which can arouse attention to the fault of urban road network. It has theoretical and practical significance to prevent damage to urban road network, to expand urban road network reasonably, to improve the road network reliability and quality of service.
