This thesis presents a new type of the distribution monitoring system. The system consists of there parts: the distribution monitoring terminal,the communication network and the distribution monitoring center.The system is applied extensively in middle-low voltage distribution network. It does achieve to supervise several feeder circuits in local position or remote one.The paper discusses the performances of the distribution monitoring system, An implementing scheme of the distribution monitoring system was given.Then it is focused on the design of the distribution monitoring terminal based on the LPC2132, including the hardware design and software design.Hardware design separated strong signals and weak signals effectively, design the circuit schematic and PCB, and proposed ways to improve system performance of a variety of anti-interference measures. Designing the software of the distribution monitoring terminal by means of the module designing thought,The software is divided into several independent modules by function, unified scheduling by the main program, The functions are implemented, which include:power parameters measuring, communication,display,data storage and ect. In the communication part, Modbus protocol and the GPRS communication network protocols were described, and the detailed use of RS485 and MC55 GPRS module. Finally,it simply introduces the functions of monitoring center and a test has been performed.Low-Voltage Power Distribution Monitoring System Based on LPC2132 is a protection, measurement, control, communications and other functions into an integrated intelligent devices,Therefore,this monitor system has wider application foreground.
