A Brief Analysis On The Garden Planning And Design Of Beijing In The Seventh China Flower Expo

The China Flower Expo is sponsored by the State Forest Bureau and China Flower Association. The Expo which began in 1987, is currently the largest, the highest grade, most influential of the national flower festivals, so it is called "the flower of the olympic ". So far, it has been successfully held seven times.The seventh Flower Expo was held in October 2009 in Shunyi district of Beijing and Qingzhou city of Shandong province at the same time.In this paper, the author discusses the history, current situation, the applicant, organization and operation of the Expo,and summed up the objectives and role of the Expo, laying the groundwork for the analysis in the following passage.The Expo is composed of indoor exhibition halls and outdoor exhibition.Outdoor exhibition area is of the design concept "high-level and characteristics" design theme of "the highest Flower Expo, Shunyi's portal". Outdoor exhibition area is of 404 acres, located east of indoor exhibition hall.It's composed of 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities show gardens, and of gardens of Shenzhen,Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan regions, and three corporate gardens.In the article according to the content on display the author categorized the gardens.They were classified into miniature scenic gardens, interpretation of historical and cultural gardens, national culture exhibition gardens, copying the traditional gardens, showing landscape of plant performance, publicity events gardens. From designing concept,context and the topic, garden layout three points discussed in study, and finally it will be reviewed at present the Flower Expo design problems, and future developmental direction of the Expo.
