The environment design method which is directed by conventional aesthetics usually makes the designer stacked against the design object. Therefore, we must bring in a new aesthetics to direct the city environment design. The well-known scholar Arnold Berleant's environment aesthetics is just what we need. " The way that people participate into the environment and continue understanding, feel, adjust or change the environment, is different from the understand in conventional aesthetics. This aesthetics combined with the human feeling makes us think problem more critically when designing the environment.In the understanding of the environment, we can regard it as the entirety composed by interactive physical units via some procedure, and emphasize the important human affect to the environment.There is of great importance that city park landscape design directed by environment aesthetics. The city is the most important and most mutual artificial environment. The idea of the city design is closely associated with the ethnologic philosophic thinking.
