Study On The Evaluation Of Outdoor Environment For Ecological Residential Subdistrict In Xi'an City

In this paper, by a residential subdistrict research in Xi'an and combined with China's current environmental assessment standards and specifications in eco-settlement, it presents for the development of ecological settlement of outdoor environmental assessment system in Xi'an by the use of AHP, and puts forward some proposals for the problems arising in the process of eco-residential construction.In the past 100 years, owing to plundering of nature, the human have suffered the resources, energy crisis and the bitter fruit of serious environmental pollution. It makes people known that the Earth is our only home, and thus the human put forward the concept of sustainable development, that the contemporary people to meet their own needs, while the needs of future generations. It is the only way to achieve a harmonious balance between human and nature. At present, a big proportion of energy consumption of urban residential development will be a major factor to restrain the ecological environment construction, and directly affects the urban sustainable development. As an urban human environment implementing the concept of sustainable development, exploring a road of sustainable urban residential construction, has become contemporary an important factor.The development of green ecological subdistrict is an effective way to solve urban environmental problems.In June 3 to 14,1996, Istanbul, Turkey, the second session of the United Nations Conference on Human Settlements has explored the two global important theme, and the one is an "urbanization of the world in sustainable human settlements development."As the development of eco-settlements in the West started earlier, and the low residential population density, reasonable planning and design, so they generally have a higher environmental quality in residential areas. In addition, most western countries have developed its own building environment evaluation system, and more evaluation systems are in the form of a points system in order to intuitively show the the object's ecological degree, and award the green building certification. All these means are effective to promote the city's sustainable development.In China, urban eco-residential construction is only an emerging field, a new subject, which needs to learn domestic and foreign good experience and summing up lessons for further comprehensive development. At present, the study on environmental assessment of eco-settlements have a obvious effect, which including:The Technical Essentials For Construction Of Healthy Housing; Green Ecological Housing Assessment Handbook; Hong Kong's HK-BEAM and so on. These standards provide an effective basis to develop green eco-settlements in China.In this paper, based on the national standards, combining the construction characteristics of ecological residential subdistrict in Xi'an, it establishes a viable evaluation system on the outdoor environmental quality of residential subdistrict, which can not only correct people's misconceptions, but also provide a basis for the government's macroscopical management.
