The Influences Of Parametric Non-linear Architectural Design On Architecture Art

With the development of digital technology, people are not complacent about the simple manipulation for computers. However, the digital technologies are applied in other fields and the role of computer has been changed from the aided design into the active participation. Parametric design was produced under this situations.Because of the application of the parametric technology in architecture design, the design method changed dramatically, it changed form top-down transcendentalism to down-up computer design. This thesis is on the method of nonlinear parametric design which used in the area o f architecture, and also introduce the concept of nonlinear parametric architecture design, and elaborate people's aesthetic conceptions in the digital times from several points such as nonlinear theory, philosophy, technique development, material changing, architecture form and so on.. The essay also analysis the influence of nonlinear parametric architecture design on architecture from some aspects, such as the architecture material, building method and building forms.At the end of this thesis, the author forecasts the trend of parametric design, and also gives the opinion on the future trend of architecture art.
