Research And Planning Of Generating Logic In Architectural Parametric Design Process

Things in nature are spontaneously organized in complex environments and follow certain internal laws,then characterized with forms and functions to adapt to challenge of environments.Architecture,as a product of human civilization,is facing more and more complex social and technological environment.Its existence mechanism is progressing with the developmen t of design theory and tools.With the introduction of computer algorithmic thinking and emerging geometry,design methods become more and more diversified,and the process of architectural design is more free and confusing.Parametric design is a basic thinking and method after digital technology introduced into architectural design.In recent years,related theoretical exploration and practical works emerge in endlessly.On the one hand,"parameters" can be analyzed and generated with the powerful computi ng ability of the computer,on the other hand,it reflects and organizes various indicators in the process of building generation.This paper holds that the first step to make good use of the parametric design method is to transform the value needs of buildings into the logical description of the building generati ng system,which includes not only the intrinsic essential elements under the influence of social,cultural,artistic,functional and economic factors,but also the external geometric forms and algorithms used in the process of formal organization.In the computer environment,the building generation process is a complex system with parameters and operations as its core.The goal of this paper is to develop and unify the internal and external elements of architecture,and to promote the generating system to achieve a balance in the computer generation of architecture.Combining with the process characteristics of parametric design method,this paper first defines and analyses the generation logic of architecture,classifies the generation logic,and puts forward the significance of generation logic planning.Combining with the characteristics of digital generation,geometry and algorithm are considered as two basic elements of generating logic.At the same time,the basic characteristics of the process of formal generation in space-time dimension are summarized.Then,with a large number of cases,this paper systematically describes the progress,concrete process and results of the parametric design method for traditional and emerging building value needs,and tries to restore the influencing factors in the process of design generation.Finally,in the form of planning,this paper discusses how the content and form of architecture can be developed and integrated at the level of generating logic.Based on complexity science,the building generating system is treated as a complex system to achieve "balance",and then,combined with the computer platform,there will be a building form with internal and exte rnal generating mechanism comes out.
