Shrinkage and creep are the inherent time-dependent characters of concrete which belongs to a visco-elastic material. It is important to accurately estimate and predict the deformation and long-term deflection of long-span bridges with high piers which arise from the effect of shrinkage and creep for engineering design, quality control and construction process.Based on the extensive collection of shrinkage and creep of concrete research data at home and abroad, and considering the current study of shrinkage and creep of concrete progress, the analysis of the mechanism, the nature and related factors of shrinkage and creep are studied in this thesis. In conjunction with a project of the MaAnShi JiaLing River Bridge, a computation model of construction control was established. Based on the concrete shrinkage and creep test, the author of the thesis studied the effect of concrete shrinkage and creep in a continuous rigid frame bridge construction control. The results have been applied to the construction control for MaAnShi Bridge. An important reference value for the other similar bridges construction control is given too.
