Roller compacted concrete which through vibrated rolling construction technique to achieve high density and strength,owns any technical and economic advantages with its characteristic of saving cement,low shrinkage,fast construction speed, high strength and opening traffic early.Composite RCC pavement used the construction technique of paving semi-rigid base and cement concrete surface twice and rolling at one time,so that surface layer and base layer cling together and form a macro-stucture. Research and engineering practice show, it has good performance and economic advantages, so it has a high application value in rural road construction. According to a large number of research and studies indoor or outdoor,this paper summarized production as follows:For different traffic levels of rural roads,paper proposed requirements and technical indicators of cement, coarse aggregate, fine aggregate and other raw materials for the rural highway in Yunnan Province. Using "Improved Vc " as the mix consistency indicators, using flexural strength as the mix strength indicators, and using orthogonal experimental design method, paper examined the performance of RCC.Using the finite element technology, paper analyse variational rule of load and thermal stress under a variety of factors such as surface thickness, surface modulus, baselayer thickness,baselayer modulus, subgrade modulus and the length of panels RCCP.According to the performance requirements of different traffic levels ,paper proposed typical structures of composite RCCP for rural roads.According to the current "Technical Specification for Construction of Highway Cement Concrete Pavement ", paper introduced rural highway RCCP construction technology about mixing, transport, paving, rolling, surface treatment, joint treatment and construction equipment in every sector,then proposed quality control standards adapted to rural roads.
