Transportation safety of concrete mixer truck is the problem to be resolved for a log time. Tumbling accident is a dramatical threat to building peoples life and project safety. The vehicle is heavy, and centroid is high and also changes with the rotation of mixing process, in addition that interactions influence between tire and road surface, which entail the driver to know that the handling stability is decreased when the speed is slightly higher, and a little carelessness will result in tumbling accidents. Therefore, the basic goal of the paper is to analysis rollover of the concrete mixer truck, judge the critical condition and provide evidence for early warning system.The paper analyzed the force distribution and moving situation after studying the vehicle structure, running features and fluid nature in the concrete mixing barrel, and then calculated the fluid moving equation according to the actual situation and properly simplified, then the paper established the velocity expression equation of fluid in the mixing barrel. Based on the theory, the paper established hydrodynamic equations, determined offset formula of dynamic centroid on the interaction of changing centrifugal force and mixing drum rotating force. Based on the formula, the paper studied the force distribution under the three conditions: circular motion, bending road introversion and extraversion, and set up tumbling dynamic models separately, and worked out the relationship between speed and front wheel conversion angle in the state of critical rollover. To verify the validity of the model, certain type concrete-mixing vehicle was selected to simulate rollover stability.It is found that the size of lateral deviation is mainly related to turning speed and unstable angle, the size of longitudinal deviation is related to vehicle stirring movement and unstable angle. The article analyzed the rollover regularity under different conditions, simulated the influence of lateral and longitudinal deviation size to critical rollover velocity, and clarified the rollover mechanism under different conditions by analyzing vehicle parametric.
