As the difference between the peaks and troughs of daily load curve is larger, currently it requires that units have peak-adjusting, frequency-adjusting capabilities. In this paper, for the characteristics of large power units, we research the functions, composition and control programs of the unit coordinated control system, and design coordination system with the control scheme based on internal model control. For the big delay phenomenon of the boiler side, the conventional PID controller is difficult to solve this problem, so we use internal model control technology for large delay object control, and combine with the adaptive control to improve the system robustness.When units change the load in different load conditions, for the different dynamic characteristics of the units, adopting different controllers can achieve good control effect. This paper uses multi-model internal model control to simulate, which can achieve better effect.
