Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) drived by triphase sinusoidaI current isresearch object in this paper. Firstly, its mathematics models in severaI coordinate are set upbasis on the analysis of electromagnetism restricted relation. And then PWM technology basedon space voltage vector is presented, in the same time, the method of PWM plus widecalculation for DSP with the voltage of biphase stator coordinate is derived. The simulationmodel of PWM inverter for open-loop control and close-loop control with MATLAB is described.Using the model can speed up the simulation speed greatly. The new model is proved correctfrom the simulation result. The character of open-loop control is got from the experiment. Thesensorless vector control is implemented by velocity estimating using Hypothetical ReferenceFrame Strategy (HRF).The experiment result shows that control method has the better dynamiccapability. At last, a new starting method which uses rotating magnet to lock rotor is presentedto resolve the problem that rotor can not be locked accurately in constant lock method. Using thenew method can get the initial position of rotor and make the starting more steadily.
