| With the development of scientific and technological, Valve is widely applied to the power, water and chemical industries. At present industrial valves are in a wide range of large numbers. The device during operation,due to valve failure caused by a large proportion of accidents. According to the valve characteristics analysis of the field data,creating a diagnostic system for the valve has played a crucial importance to determine the health status of the entire operating system. But the knowledge of the running rules appears by the natural language form and there are some fuzziness between fault signs and fault reasons. In this text, researching in-depth on representation of fault diagnoses knowledge in the running rules; compiling 10type kinds of functions to distinguish signs; developing a expert system by VC++ 6.0 and CLIPS for running fault diagnosis in the valve system.
