Study On Several Key Technology Of Digital Substation

The substation automation system is going into new development stages with advancement of the technology of non-conventional transducers, the implementation of IEC61850 standard, the application of Ethernet. The digital substation is becoming the tendency of future substation automation systems, in which information is collected, transmitted and processed by digital signal processing technology. In allusion to its characteristics and functional requirements, this paper mainly focuses on certain research, which are IEC61850 standard, communication network, ECT/EVT, protection configuration and so on. The principles above are used in the Tangshan Guojiatun 220kV digital substation, these practical principles are also analyzed by the project. In addition, smart substation will be the tendency of future digital substation and bring its several techniques forward to research.
