The modern design methods (QFD, TRIZ and AD) and the design process (customer requirement stage and conceptual design stage) are integrated, and the design process model of mechanical product based on QFD/TRIZ/AD is constructed in this paper. Then the model is applied in innovative design of the automobile conveyance of stereo garage. The main content of the paper is as followed.(1) Customer requirement characteristic is analyzed and market-drawn mode based on QFD and technology-driven mode based on the theory of technology evolution that determined customer requirement are elaborated. Customer requirement is divided into realistic and potential, and then the customer requirement model that driven by the theory of technology evolution is constructed for finding potential customer requirement. It improves the market competitiveness of products.(2) "1141" system based on TRIZ is proposed and elaborated. TRIZ combined with QFD and AD is integrated with conceptual design stage of the design process, and then the conceptual design process model of mechanical product based on QFD/TRIZ/AD is constructed.(3) The design process model of mechanical product based on QFD/TRIZ/AD is constructed. The procedure that functional model built in new design is proposed; meanwhile the process that analyzing and solving problems based on "1141" system is put forward. The model improves the efficiency of product innovation which meets customer requirement largely and makes analyzing and solving problem programmable to ensure the optimal design.(4) Firstly, maturity prediction to core technology of the automobile conveyance is made using the customer requirement analysis stage of the model and evolution pattern and path of the conveyance are analyzed, we get the potential customer requiremen and then construct the HOQ between customer requiremen and product's characteristic; secondly, conceptual design that based on Pro/I of the conveyance is made using the conceptual design stage of the model, then we get a design scheme of the conveyance that clamps the two drive tires of car; thirdly, the scheme is evaluated based on AD and the result proves that the scheme is a decoupling design; at last, principle model and experimental research is done for the scheme,and the research shows that the scheme improves the efficiency of vehicle access which meet the potential customer requirement, meanwhile, it proves the rationality and feasibility of the design process model of mechanical product based on QFD TRIZ/AD.
