| Abstract As basal theories for this paper, firstly the TRIZ and QFD are introduced in brief.Some unperfected places of TRIZ are discussed and some directions of development ofTRIZ in the future are pointed. At the same time, the tools, concepts, mains of TRIZused throughout QFD are analyzed and described. In the next place on the basic ofintroducing the Kano's model, each functions of their TRIZ and QFD for ascertainingcustomer requirements process is defined, by integrating the two patters for productdesign: market "pull"and technical "push". From these, a new method to obtaincustomer requirements is put forward and an applicable example in practice is given.Then, the merits and shortcomings of QFD used in engineering design are anatomized.Aimed at the shortcomings of QFD used in conceptual design of mechanical product, bymerging the strongpoint of TRIZ, a new model of the conceptual design process basedon QFD and TRIZ is studied and some key points are discussed. The above statedprocess of conceptual design has been verified though a living engineering example inpractice. At last, the prospect of conceptual design is described properly. |
