With the development of social industrialization, the demand of energy is increasing. Now, energy issue has become a global problem. Although our Country's coal reserve is forefront in the world, the consumption becomes faster. This has caused shortage of coal resources and rose in faster rate of coal prices. Thermal power plant is the largest coal consumption of our country. For example, it takes thousands tons of coal one day in a power plant, and needs to reserve enough amount of coal for the following week. Today in some areas have emerged outage because of the shortage of coal. According to a survey earlier this year, the amount of coal is lower than the warning level for 7 days in 3 percent power plant, so part of the city began limiting the consumption. In short, electricity shortage has affected people's production and life and become a serious problem.Main research contents of this project are as follows:firstly it studies the heat balance of power plant, and tests the boiler efficiency, turbine efficiency,turbine efficiency and power consumption rate according to the integrated of thermal power unit. Then, calculates the fuel consumption of each unit at different load and obtains unit coal consumption curves. Second, Fitting a fuel consumption curve with the load changes by MATLAB Curve Fitting Toolbox and Least-squares fitting theory. The Emphasis is using the Hopfield network of neural network to solve optimal load distribution. Make the summation of each unit load for the objective function with constraints. When the network energy function come to minimum, the amount of coal consumption of each unit reach minimal. Lastly, the topic described optimal load systems based on DCS platform by the aspects of Hardware, software and configuration.By researching the project about load distribution in power plant, it saves the coal consumption and achieves energy-saving effect.
