As early eighties in the 20th century, kerosene vapor drying technology (VPD) was already spreading to Changchun and Taiyuan, after which the technology has been absorpted and utilized by several large transformer manufacturers in China. In recent years, the drying technique have been studied by many foreign companies (XIMENZI), but they do not have solve a problem ---dry technical problems on-site. In this paper, on the basis of the existing kerosene vapor drying technology to design a set of on-site kerosene vapor drying equipment, In the design process, the following aspects are discussed:(1) on the basis of the existing drying equipment, choose a reasonable parts, assembling a set of portable drying equipment; (2) to the drying equipment have been designed, designed the electrical control part and installated; (3) designed human-machine interface control procedures; (4) preparated on-the-spot kerosene vapor drying technology; (5) debugging the set of design techniques on-site.Following the above discussion, having designed a new drying technology. The technology which is able to overcome the difficulties that hard to transport, so it can bring tremendous economic benefits.
