Based on the hydrodynamic lubrication theory, this paper introduced the sliding movement of bearing condition and the principle of lubrication oil film gain momentum from the mathematical model of rotor-bearing system, and gave the assumption of Reynolds equation and the derivation process, then described the oil-film force model which is established by the analytical solution of Reynolds equation proposed in the relevant literature. According to the two kinds of better steady-state analytical model of sliding bearings nonlinear oil film force, the corresponding computational model of oil film stiffness was established, and the linkages and differences between them were discussed on this basis, then the film stiffness change for the unit vibration impacts was analyzed; After that, this paper analyzed the applicability of the oil film lubrication to the gas film lubrication according to the actual nature of the gas, and gave the modified calculation model of gas film stiffness, so that, the correctness of the revised model can be obtained by the experimental data. At last, this paper researched on the pneumatic rotor-bearing system critical speed and Gas film Whirl, reached a conclusion.
