Study On The Outpatient Hall Of The Hospital From Behavior And Psychology

The space of out-patient hall is not only be used as an entrance of a hospital and a transport hub, but also serves as a window to show the whole picture of a hospital. Apart from this, other needed public space including:registered area, waiting area and so on has been ignored for a long time during the development of hospital architecture. To settle this awkward situation, the psychological behavior of customers is researched carefully as a mainly issue. First of all, find out drawback of contemporary hospital out-patient hall. Secondly, take the Second Affiliated Hospitatl of Dalian Medial University and and the Aviation Central Hospital as example to do field study to research the difference attitude of patients and accompanying persons towards evironmental perception, psychological behavior needs and environmental satisfaction. Then use the methods of analysising data, watching, interviewing and surveying to figure out the basic needs of people in out-patient hall and the environmental effect on human behavior from multi-level, multi-angle. This result has further practical significance in perfecting and developing the space quality of the out-patient hall design in the far future.
