The utility of offshore wind energy has more advantage than the wind energy on land. But the high construction cost of offshore wind farm limits its development. The practical experience has shown that the foundation cost plays an important role in the whole project cost. And the optimization design can reduce its cost, which can help to the whole project's cost reduction and obtain high economic effect. In this paper, a three-dimensional finite element analysis model is established for the tripod-pile offshore wind turbines foundation based on the ANSYS parametric design language (APDL). Take the structure gross weight as the objective function, the size optimization and shape optimization design is realized which satisfies the intensity, rigidity, stability and geometry constraints. If the optimization design doesn't consider the structure's fuzziness, it will miss the optimal scheme. So, this paper establishes the fuzzy optimization model for the tripod-pile offshore wind turbines foundation considering the constraint condition's fuzzinees of the structure. The tolerance coefficient of constrained condition boundary is determined by fuzzy comprehensive judgement method, and the fuzzy optimum solutions are obtained by bound search method. The results show that the shape optimaziton results are better than the size optimazition. It can make full use of the components material, And the fuzzy optimization can make the coordination between various component better, then the results are more scientific. So, the shape optimization and fuzzy optimization for the offshore wind turbines foundation is reasonable and feasible, and the economic effect is very obvious.
