With the accelerating process of China's urbanization, the demand for urban rail transit is increasing. At present, rail transit network planning of 25 cities has been approved by the state.28 cities are planning and constructing urban rail transit network, planning routes adding up to 9 lines, and the total mileage adding up to 2,600 kilometers. The transfer station, as an important node of rail transit network, plays an important supporting role in promoting the network effect and its transfer efficiency will directly affect the entire network service. However, the defects of rail transit network planning, the accuracy of transfer passenger flow and lack of transfer station scale design standard, and so on, lead to following questions of the coordination of transfer station facilities:a long distance of transfer causes inconvenience; transfer facilities do not match the passenger flow; lack of enough analysis of passenger flow distribution has short-term impact on facilities and causes uncertainties in safety; etc. Therefore optimization study of transfer facilities coordination is urgent at present. Based on the evaluation and optimization of the transfer station facilities coordination system, the paper concludes the following research results:(1) The meaning of transfer station facilities coordination of urban rail transit is defined. Through analysis of the specific content of coordination, the goal of coordination of transfer station facilities is achieved:passenger transfer meets the requirements of convenience and high efficiency, safety and comfort; and traffic facilities capability satisfies the adaptability of passenger flow.(2) The coordination problems of transfer station facilities of urban rail transit is studied; Through the analysis of the various factors affecting the transfer station facilities coordination, the optimization measures is put forward. Finally, according to the analysis, the transfer station facilities coordination evaluation indicator system of transfer station is determined, and then proper indicators are chosen for evaluation.(3) An AHP evaluation model for transfer station is established, and the evaluation of XizhiMen Station in Beijing as a specific case is made.(4) According to the evaluation results, the existing problems of the coordination of transfer station facilities is analyzed, and the corresponding optimization measures are put forward; A VISSIM model is used to fest optimizing measures, and verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the optimization measures.
