Research On The Train Operation Scheme Of The Intercity Dedicated Passenger Railway

According to"China's medium and long-term railway network plan", economically developed areas including the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Sea Rim will construct new regional inter-city dedicated passenger line as regional major transport infrastructure. Scientific and rational design of operating scheme of the regional inter-city dedicated passenger line has important practical significance. It can not only centralize configuration and optimize the use of resources, but also connect the bridge between passenger's demand and transportation organization. Meanwhile it provides a basis for daily command of transportation and drawing up inter-city train operation plan in order to make inter-city dedicated passenger line more competitive.Based on the experiences and research results at home and abroad, the paper presents the passenger train operating scheme's impact factors, including qualitative analysis of the passenger flow, inter-city passenger flow characteristics, inter-city passenger transport infrastructure, passenger train marshalling and capacity, the economic benefits of the railway operation companies, the passenger's travel costs etc. Taking into account the needs of the passengers and economic benefits of enterprises, the principles of designing operation scheme are put forwards. The multi-objective programming model of the inter-city operation scheme is proposed to gain the balance among the revenue maximization, empty seats traveling distance minimization and the total passenger waiting time minimization. In order to solve the model, OD flow adjustment method is used. The paper presents the solution to making multi-objective programming into a single objective programming. At last, taking Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong dedicated passenger line as an example, the model is applied. By using LINGO software, the inter-city passenger operation scheme in predictive year is work out.
