Design And Construction Of Physical Recreation Space In Urban Parks

Providing physical recreation space is one of the important functions of urban parks. Urban parks provide beautiful environment and various comfortable spaces for physical recreation activities, which increased the vital atmosphere for urban parks. Nowadays, with the rapidly development of urbanizing, people's demands for healthy exercise are increasing. As a result, the function of physical recreation of the urban parks is getting more important.Unfortunately, many cities have problems between the increasingly demand for outdoor physical recreation space and lack of green space and sports facilities. As a result, research on the manners, ways and facilities of physical recreation activities becomes an important subject that is the development and construction of modern urban parks.This article analyzed the relationship between the physical recreation space and people's sport activities, proposed some space and environmental patterns, which appropriate for people's sports activities base on the analysis of the behavior and psychological characteristics of people. Besides, this article considered the health keeping function of urban parks and proposed some important points when designing physical recreation space. It also concluded the ideas and principles for the planning and design of the physical recreation space in urban parks. This article should be helpful for the construction of urban parks which play an important role in offering spaces for physical recreation.
