The Survey Of Constructuring Eco-city In Chengde

The concept of eco-city was advocated since the 70`s in the 20th century,it was under the circumstances of the rapid development of urban modernization. Globalization, the accelerated pace of urbanization and urban blind and disorderly self-construction all lead to the city's environmental pollution, waste of resources, the intensification of dense population and other issues. With the increasingly severity of problem and deepening understanding on the economic value of urban development, cultural values and sentimental value, the eco-city construction issues has been paid more serious attention.At present, China's economic development is well on the way, the rapid economic development in eastern coastal areas has always been gaining strength. In the ongoing process of urbanization, the sustainable development of cities must be strengthened, therefore the eco-city must be moulded in order to continuously improve the taste of the city and to maintain the sound development of the city. Under such macro background, through the author`s own contempulation and the investigation and recommendations of the ecological construction of Chengde city, this essay means that propriate attention should be given to the adequate utilization and protection of all kinds of resources during the urbanization process, and to provide practical references to future construction of eco-city.The papers is divided two parts. The first part is theoretical research, mainly from the nature of the problem of eco-city paper introduces the connotation of eco-city construction, domestic and international eco-city construction theory research. Of the main features of ecological cities and composition, obtained the inevitability of ecological city construction. On the status of domestic and international ecological city construction analysis, obtained the specific eco-city construction practices.The second part is to analyze the necessities of eco-city construction on studying the current circumstances of Chengde city. Due to natural factors and social conditions, Chengde City is blessed with the natural and cultural landscapes, rich in tourism sources, has a special and unique geographical place, therefore the unique characteristics and advantages should be utilized mostly, in the process of eco-city construction, Beijing city should be connected and taken into full consideration; taking full advantage of its unique features is to make high-brand tourism industry; under the,background of carrying out three-year constructuring city`s new appearance policy, to construct ecological and tourist city with international standards.
