In the stream of new type of tourism, under the background of the construction of new socialist countrysides, in the processing of cultivating deeply in western Sichuan mountain scenic area, especially under the historical mission of reconstruction after 5.12 Wenchuan earthquake, designing farmhouse-hotels for western Sichuan scenic area seems to be imperative, especially urgent for area which surrounds western Sichuan Basin, This is what this paper mainly concerns about.During the past twenty years, farmhouse-hotels in western Sichuan mountainous scenic area are developing step by step, from none to one, from simple functions to various functions nowadays. we cannot help signing with feelings for the booming business of them. But unfortunately these buildings had been suffered an extremely destruction during the Wenchuan earthquake, with heavy loss. After-quake reconstructions have been advanced with an unstopping step. Farmhouse-hotels which originally collect conflicts itself now need wondering which is the best way to go in processing of reconstruction, thus we need to do some systematic analysis.According to the survey, this paper studys the farmhouse-hotels in western Sichuan mountain scenic area by analyzing, comparing and summarizing, to finde out problems and then solve them. Based on understanding the building characters and region environment, it makes out a research on planning, designing and region expressing, also it does some strategy research on present reconstructions of farmhouse-hotels with the status quo. Value orientation of farmhouse-hotels in the theory of planing is the main clue of this article. Finally, hope the research will take active effects to the reconstructions of farmhouse-hotels through case analyzing and preliminary designing practice.Wish that the quality of farmhouse-hotels after reconstructions will make a whole promoting, achieving its new development to make more people enjoy it.
