In the power system, power transformer assumes to the responsibility of voltage transformation,energy distribution and transfer, the normal operation of power transformer is an important guarantee of the system security, reliability, quality, economic operation. Once the transformer damage, often caused widespread power outages, residents live a normal life, even greater impact on industrial production, the consequences are more serious, not only caused heavy losses to the national economy and may even lead to personal injury and other serious incidents, but also once the transformer damage, the repair time is often longer. Early detection and treatment, therefore the potential transformer failure will have very important practical significance. Present research on the operation condition of power transformer based on relevant standards and expert judgments of operating experience as the base, through regular preventive maintenance or power outage test of its static evaluation. However, practice proved that the assessment by static electricity transformer in the practical application does not guarantee its safety and reliability. In recent years, many experts and scholars made a lot of things,through the monitoring, evaluation and life prediction of power transformers and other means to determine the operating status, making the power transformer fault diagnosis and comprehensive assessment has become a hot research topic.These studies on reducing operating maintenance costs and improve the reliability of transformer has important theoretical significance,practical value, and good prospects for development. combineded with the failure mechanism of power transformers,characteristics ,and the overhaul of our current situation, This paper discusses the need for the power transformer of comprehensive diagnostic evaluation, used the AHP combining the method of gray relation established the integrated power transformer running evaluation index system.Secondly, according to the selected comprehensive evaluation of information theory and multi-level nature of power transformer and multi-factor nature of the use of AHP to the overall operation of power transformers goal of the multi-level decomposition, the decomposition of the structural system was established to run the power transformer State Comprehensive Assessment Model.Finally, the indicators used up, half down staircase function quantified using the gray relational theory of quantized layer of the model calculation, the establishment of the integrated operation of power transformer condition assessment and diagnostic process, based on the evaluation process of the preparation of the corresponding comprehensive assessment of power transformer calculation program. And an example to verify the correctness and validity of assessment methods. In this paper, based on the AHP and gray relation theory of power transformer running state comprehensive evaluation methods to run the state of power transformers of various parameters and other influencing factors are organically integrated, making evaluation results more close to actual running status, the assessment Results for the overhaul of decision-making power transformer to provide good technical support.
