Firstly,taking the non normal working state principle and characteristics of apower transformer into account,this paper introduces the basic situation of conditionassessment and fault diagnosis of a power transformer, and it discusses theevaluation of the comprehensive state and the important characteristics, which canhelp improve the electric power transformer of China,and use the analysis the greysystem theory and AHP method, the working condition of power transformer basedon this evaluation system.Secondly,the multiple levels of the operating condition of the power transformerhave made the overall evaluation diverse, respectively using the overall operatingcondition of the grey target theory and the gray relational theory,and it makes acomparison between them.Finally, this paper also applies rough set theory to the fault diagnosis, and it usesthe test data of dissolved gas in transformer oil.The paper improves the three ratiomethod design,and makes a combination of various parameters and working state ofpower transformer under the shadow of the influencing factors,so the evaluationresults will be more accurate.And the results of maintenance decision evaluation canbe used to support the power transformer.
