Diabetes is a global diseases which is harmful to human health. In recent years, as the progress of science and technology and the improvement of people's living standard, the number of diabetic increased sharply, and the trend was younger, especially in developing countries. Patients urgent need positive and effective prevention, treatment and self-testing.With the rapid development of medical devices in the world, the glucometer market also excitedly emerge. In order to impel the development of our country glucometer profession, help diabetic to carry on effectively control, and satisy their physiological and the psychological demand, at the same time ,we should deal with the industrial design and the ergonomics demand for the development and provide a security, comfortably, the humanization healthy physical therapy for diabetic who was encumbered by illness for a long time. Therefore this paper analyses the important meaning of glucometer ergonomics design.,expounds its ergonomics design content and ergonomic design criteria. This paper based on the theory of ergonomics, through analyses diabetes and its related information to summarize, simultaneously it researches comprehensive information of glucometer on the evaluation and analysis the user's feedback to make humanized design. The paper designs for glucometer product, houman-computer interface design and exterior shape design provides the ergonomic design principle and the application criterion and suggestions for improvement. So that glucometer to is used in the process of safe, comfortable, reliable, and provide the best effect of service. We believe ergonomics design for glucometer equipment which will become the mainstream of development direction .
