The construction of the bridge has become a modern symbol events of the rapid development of regional economic. The construction of bridge facilitate for economic development and also have a tremendous impact to the safety navigation of the ship. ship-bridge collision incidents ranging from damage to facilities, while in boats destroyed and the bridge collapsed. For ship-bridge collision incidents scholars have made a lot of research.Studies show that among the reasons of the event of the ship-bridge collision, personnel errors, mechanical failure and the harsh natural environment etc,the proportion of human factors as high as 70%. However, according to Heinrich causal chain theory, the occurrence is not an isolated incident, but a result occured by series of incidents,so as the casualty has necessary linkage with those occurrence reason.By investigated the analytical report On the ship-bridge collision incidents ,combined with years of sailing of experience of my own,the Author has found that the so-called "human errors" are mostly closely related to mechanical failure. Embodied in the human errors leading to mechanical failure, mechanical failure further lead to the manipulation of mistakes and then result in a collision accident. Therefore, this study attempts to research the emergency manuevering of ship-bridge emergency collision avoidence theoritical and systematic through ship's manuevering technology,combined with the bridge waters environment and the special characteristics of the structure of the bridge itself.This paper is divided into five chapters:Chapter I, introduction. It includes the main purpose, significance, and relevant studies of the research paper.Chapter II, thestudies of the environmental of the bridge area and the definition process of bridge Navigable waters. The paper summerizes the special enviroment characteristics of the bridge waters,by analysising the drifting process of the vessel not under command and combined with the relevant industry standards to the bridge to definition the limmit of the bridge waters. Chapter III, the study of the ship-bridge collision risk model.By introduction of the model of the probability of ship not under command &collide with the bridge pier and the displacement of transverse movement of vessel during the bridge water sailing and verificate with the actual parameters of a typical bridge for validation.Chapter IV, the technical points of emergency manuevering programme. By alaysis the different condition of ship not under command,comaper the critical distance of vessel drifting and the distance between the ship and bridge and the relation to those manuevering parameters to choose the emeregency manueveing process. Chapter V, Summary and Outlook.By analysising the deficiencies of the way of definition of waters of the bridge and the selection of emergency manuvering of collision avoidance,give the technical routes for further research.In this paper, the basic data is based on the project of safety navigation research in bridge area (SU TONG BRIDGE) which was undertook by the Navigation College in the early time.By verification the model with the data,the conclusion is relatively feasible. The research result can used and the reference of safety management of future construction of buildings across the river and safety navigation near the bridge.
