Shafting products were a class of products,representative and relatively complex assembly. With the development of the theory of virtual assembly, it was difficult to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of assembly,because the shape of shafting products was more complex, the number of parts was more large, the cost of manufacturing and assemblying were more higher. From reality, this paper integrated and optimized a lot of interference inspection theories, summed up a kind of method for rapid interference inspection, re-developed the Pro/E through Pro/Toolkit and VC+ +6.0 at the same time, provided a collision detection module for the virtual assembly process of complex shafting products, improved the speed and accuracy of the virtual assembly operation. The method used in this article,the problems of design and assembly line process could be found quickly and efficiently by designers, R&D could be achieved a real DFA,and also provided perfect referenced scheme for the interference inspection of other impellers.
