The Steel Frame-Concrete Tube Residential Building are increasingly maturing in the developed countries for many years, but in our country, it is at the stage of beginning. With the development of economy, government has offered the relevant polices, which will promote the development of Frame—Concrete Tube residential building, the study and practice of the development of steel structure residential building, the study and practice of the steel structure residential system has being gradually carried out. The contents mainly focus on the following aspects:(1) A three-dimensional finite element analysis model of high-rise steel frame-concrete tube is established, and its natural vibration characteristic is analyzed. The dynamic characteristics of the structure are analyzed, and based on quality vibration coefficient and torsion characteristics, and model of high-order mode in the reaction is analyzed..(2) Through the elastic-plastic dynamic analysis of frame—concrete tube structure with Pushover methods, the process of Plastic hinge are observed and the results are analyzed.(3) A concrete tube finite element analysis model is established with multi-layer shell element and the other concrete tube finite element analysis model is established with framework element. The results of the models in pushover process are compared, and the useful conclusions are summarized.(4) Through the elastic-plastic dynamic analysis of frame-concrete tube structure under different earthquake input, the displacement-time history response of top floor, acceleration time history, maximal floor displacement and inner-story drifts ratio of the structure are obtained. The character of its crack development, yielding mechanism and failure situation are also discussed in detail. Though comparative analysis of the structure's dynamic response of different constitute factors and under different earthquake inputs, it is found that the spectral characteristics of the influence on the dynamic response of steel frame—concrete tube structure.(5) The results of pushover analysis method and dynamic time-history analysis method, the conclusions play a good role in the structure forming process and calculation.Finally, some unresolved problem is proposed on the basis of concluding the whole paper's work.
