This article proposes a solution of motor integrated protection based on DSP universal microprocessor-based protection hardware platform, which makes a good use of the strong digital signal processing ability of DSP to ensure the realization of integrate protection of the device. It adopts a method of symmetrical component to react various of electric faults of motor; And in order to detect motor breakage bar fault, it also adopts a method of motor current signature analysis (MCSA) to detect the false frequency component of rotor from stator-current signal. By use of MATLAB software, we emulate and compare the characters among Two-point integral algorithm, Half-period integral algorithm and Full-wave Fourier integral algorithm. Finally, we decide to adopt the Fourier integral algorithm with filtering function as the electrical sampling algorithm of this device.The hardware design adopts the modular notion to design a universal platform, select the TI chip of TMS320F2812 as the CPU to complete the task of data processing and logic decision in real time, utilize the abundant peripheral resources of this chip, simplify the hardware design as well as elevate the integrated of this device, it can easily transplant to the hardware platform of other microcomputer protection device by amending relevant parts. The software design adopts TI real-time multiple task OS kernel DSP/BIOS which is developed for chip TMS320F28xTM series. Every functional module is regards as a task thread, by dint of the kernel service which is configurable, it can be sequenced by priority to use the CPU resource time division multiplexing. Every task thread assort with each other by synchronization, communicate, data exchange and so on. It has great significance to improve the reliability and expansibility, reducing development cycle and cutting down developing costs of this device.The advantages of modularization design the universal software and hardware platform scheme are accelerating development of the microprocessor-based protection device, reducing development and maintenance cost, improving safety and reliability of the protection device.
