Research On The Western Henan Cave Dwelling Of Traditional Folk Hourse From Ecological Perspective View

The World Climate Conference was be held at the Danish capital Copenhagen on 7-18,December 2009,indicating that the environmental protection, energy-saving emission reduction and maintenance of the ecological have attacted the attention of various countries. China's natural resources are relatively scarce.Environmental protection and energy conservation is imperative. "China's building energy consumption has more than one quarter of total primary energy consumption reached about 27%." How to conserve energy and protect environment effectivly , how to develop low-power, high efficiency energy-saving, environmentally friendly construction in order to achieve building for sustainable development become the inevitable trend in the construction industry. Loess cave dwelling was recognized by the world due to its characteristics of local conditions, local materials, cool and low cost . The study of Loess cave dwelling will help to improve the existing living conditions and help to energy conservation, environmental protection and achieving sustainable development.The architectural members have growing concern the study of cave dwelling ,and made numbers of research results.But,due to various reasons, study on the cave dwelling in northern Shaanxi and Gansu were many,on the western Henan were relatively rare. This article studied the western Henan cave dwelling of folk hourse from Ecological Perspective view by two aspects.First,this article analyzed the advantage of Western Henan cave dwelling from Ecological Perspective view, summed up its merits of adaptation to local natural environment, eco-energy saving, cool in summer and warm in winter, save farmland, maintaining the natural balance and sustainable development, and pleasant living environment and so on,and promoted it to make it more reasonable in order to improve the living standards of residents in western Henan cave;second,the author proposed improvement measures aimed at the shortcomings and deficiencies in western Henan cave dwelling, such as inadequate lighting, poorly ventilated, dark and damp, natural disasters.The measures provide a scientific basis and practical methods for the improvement of western Henan cave dwelling.At the same time,the author proposed some suggestions as a reference for the planning , construction and improvement of cave dwelling .This paper is divided into six chapters: the first chapter to explain the purpose and significance of this paper, the research origins , present status, research methods, research object and related concepts.The second Chapter described environment and history of western Henan cave dwelling, where the environment including climate environment, geography environment, cultural environment, and history is divided into development stages of western Henan cave dwelling and its status. The third Chapter was the Ecological research of western Henan cave dwelling.This chapter described classification of the western Henan cave dwelling ,structure , the layout, elevations and sections of cave monomer ,as well as the Ecological strategies of the western Henan cave dwelling, including local conditions, eco-energy saving and so on. The forth Chapter was comparative study between the western Henan cave dwelling and the others.This chapter find out the features of the Western Henan cave dwelling by the comparation of natural conditions, cave layout, structure and tectonic cave, cave monomer, the physical environment between the Western Henan cave dwelling and the other three areas of cave dwelling .The fifth chapter was the improvement of the Western Henan cave dwelling.This chapter find out the deficiencies of the Western Henan cave dwelling, and analyze the reasons of its deficiencies,then, proposed improvement measures, demonstrate the improvement measures to the Western Henan cave dwelling by improvement of examples.The sixth chapter was summary of the research on the western Henan cave dwelling of folk hourse and look forward to the futurity.
